I am currently looking for a resort with a nice Chapel or gazebo because we want to have a Catholic wedding. If anyone has had a Catholic wedding in DR I would appreciate any information! Thanks!

Have you been able to find a catholic church to have the ceremony or have you also decided to have it at a Gazebo at the resort?

My fiance is also Dominican... he was born and raised in New Jersey though... We are planning to have our wedding in DR not only because some of his family still live in DR but because of how beautiful it is! I am trying to also incorporate my culture because I am of Portuguese descent

Hello my name is Jenny! I am so excited to finally begin planning my wedding! We are still up in the air about a date but are looking into sometime around July 2010... I am also unsure of an exact location so we are undecided between Puerto Plata or Punta Cana... I need all the help in the world just to choose a resort so I could finally start planning! :-)
