  1. http:// http://vimeo.com/user7580066/angie-peter Hi girls! Haven't been on here much since our wedding in December, but I finally got around to uploading and sharing this video our friend made of us getting ready, walking down the aisle and our vows. Thought I'd share with you lovely Bahia brides!
  2. Thank you! I bought it from Etsy seller, Luxe Delux... http://www.etsy.com/shop/luxedeluxe
  3. The KISS! Such a special moment! When my dad handed me off to my fiance... When we were dancing down the aisle after being pronounced husband and wife At our reception when my dad handed my husband a torch, symbolizing him handing over the responsibilities to my new husband
  4. They are Johnston & Johnston first aid kits, which come with the first aid kit supplies in them (band aids, gauze, wipes, etc). I bought them from here... http://www.firstaidmonster.com/first-aid-kits-johnson-johnson-cut-scrape-kit-p-4500.html?cPath=15_233
  5. Try emailing [email protected], and type "URGENT" in the subject line. I got a response a few hours later when I was first planning our wedding. Hope that helps!
  6. No problem! We had 52 guests, but I think you can request the 3 tier cake regardless of how many guests you have.
  7. That is what we did, dinner from 6 - 8, cocktail party from 8 - 11 (where we did speeches and dancing) and then to the disco! It was so much fun!
  8. Thanks Christi! Our cake was the "deluxe option", we didn't do desert at the dinner, just the cake, and we had 52 people, there was no extra charge for the three tiers? There was plenty of cake for our guests Hmmm, Jazmin had asked if we wanted to pay extra for champagne to toast with, I said no, and she said a "fruit cocktail" was included at no charge to toast with. It tasted fruity, I honestly don't know if there was alcohol in it or not though! LOL
  9. Nestor took these photos at our December 16, 2010 wedding at the Gran Bahia Principe Tulum. He did an amazing job, and we are so pleased! http://www5.snapfish.com/snapfish/thumbnailshare/AlbumID=2976967027/a=2908461027_2908461027/otsc=SHR/otsi=SALBlink/COBRAND_NAME=snapfish/
  10. I don't think it matters how many people you have for the dinner. But from what I understand, whatever side of the resort you get married at (Tulum, Akumal or Coba), that is where you have to have your dinner. We had ours at the Gran Tortuga. We did use a travel agent, she is a friend of ours though, so we were lucky. I had a tough time finding one in the beginning too...no one would call me back, or they would and would listen to our budget, but then would suggest resorts that were way out of our budget! Our travel agent didn't specialize in weddings, so maybe just try going to a regular travel agent and seeing if she can do a group booking for you. We booked through Sunquest, and our flights were through West Jet...
  11. We did, and it was SO yummy! Very fresh and moist! Here is a pic (don't mind our Simpson's wedding cake topper, my husband is a bit obsessed) he he.
  12. We did the Remember Package for $700 USD which included: Renewal of Vows or Symbolic Blessing (Minister’s fees) Marriage ceremony with music from CD (clients can bring their own music if desired, 4 songs are suggested). Decoration of the location; the wedding location will be assigned after arrival. Bride & Groom’s bouquet & boutonniere (Tropical Local Flowers). Dinner in one of our restaurants with set menu (consult menus). Gourmet Wedding Cake or variety of Chef’s customs pastry dessert choice. Upgraded in-room Amenities 10 % Discount on Spa treatments (except pedicure, manicure, hairdresser & makeup) Upon arrival local sparkling wine will be served in the room. Transfer to wedding location for the bride. Turn down service. 10 professional full colored pictures of the wedding ceremony Late Check out until 6 PM ( wedding couple, upon request & subject to availability) Other additional personalized options are available (Ask Wedding Coordinator for current options and prices). Professional Services of an Onsite Wedding Coordinator. We also did a private poolside cocktail reception from 8 pm - 11 pm, and chose the basic package for drinks, which worked out to $11 per person. On top of that, I had my hair done at the salon ($85 USD), and had my dress steamed (approximately $15 USD). My husband had a massage as well. When we checked out our total was $1,500.00. Not bad for an amazing wedding!
  13. I second what CanadianKim said. We brought our own photographer from home, so Nestor just took photos of our ceremony. But I am pretty sure you can pay extra and have him before the ceremony to take photos while you and your groom get ready, the ceremony, after to do family and group shots, etc. Arrecife Studio Mexico has a Facebook page if you want to contact them, and see more photos they have done
  14. Nestor did our photos, here is a link to our Snapfish account, the password is "mexico2010" if you need it. He did an amazing job, and I would recommend him to future Bahia brides http://www5.snapfish.com/snapfish/thumbnailshare/AlbumID=2976967027/a=2908461027_2908461027/otsc=SHR/otsi=SALBlink/COBRAND_NAME=snapfish/
