  1. Hello everyone! My name is Sandra. My fiance and I are getting married June 27, 2011 in Las Vegas and couldn't be more excited about it!! We originally were looking into Hawaii, but decided Vegas would be more ideal for us, our family, and friends. We cannot wait! We are having our ceremony at the Heritage Garden through Always & Forever Weddings. I'm currently in the process of looking up hotel and restaurant information... which can be overwhelming at times! Any advice would be helpful
  2. Danyelle, I think your plans for the day sound great! Sounds like there is plenty of time for everyone to be together, but also time for guests to do their own thing and explore Vegas. Â We are having our ceremony through Always & Forever Weddings at the Heritage Garden. We will have about 30 people. I am now trying to figure out hotel and restaurant information, where to stay, where to have dinner, etc. but there are so many to choose from! Â Our ceremony is in the evening and I'm trying to find an affordable restaurant location, where we could also have somewhat of a "mini-reception". I'm looking into an "after party" that night too... but still trying to get all this info together. It can be overwhelming at times! Â Good luck with your planning!
  3. This sounds like so much fun!!! I'm very interested in this opportunity... it may be too late but I just sent a PM just in case Your work is beautiful!
  4. Thanks for the advice! My fiance and I have talked about it more and we are set on having a ceremony with just the two of us and an AHR with all of our friends and family when we get back home. It was tough, but I think this is the best decision for us!
  5. Hi everyone! My fiance & I initially decided to have a wedding in Maui with just the two of us, but now I am having second thoughts about excluding my immediate family and close friends. I would love to invite them, however I know that my family will not be able to afford the travel expenses. I feel like if I would be burdening them by asking them to travel all the way to Maui for my wedding. Also, my fiance & I are paying for everything ourselves and on a tight budget so it would be hard to entertain friends & family abroad. I think I should stick with our initial decision and maybe have an AHR once we return. I think I am just worried about my family feeling left out! Has anyone else been in a similar situation? Thanks so much for any advice!!!!
  6. Congrats!!!!! It took us a while to come up with a date too, and we will be heading to Maui June 2011! Good luck with your planning!
