Katrina, Did you do a rehearsal dinner with your guests the night before? I'm not sure if I should include everyone in on a dinner reservation or not? Also, what time was your ceremony and what time was your dinner? There is such a long wait time between the dinner and the ceremony...Thanks!

Did you have anything set up after dinner like a reception or anything? DJ/Disco? Did you do a rehearsal dinner with all of your guests? Any information you have would be great! Thanks! Kristin
  3. Jill, Cynthya is the new coordinator I guess. Not sure if Fabiola is still there or not. I actually emailed them first and they emailed me back right away. The biggest thing that bugs me is that my ceremony is at 3:00pm and dinner isn't until 8:45!! If you have a group smaller than 27 you can have the first seating...I have about 50 so I'm stuck with eating dinnner 5 hours after the ceremony which I feel is ridiculous. So needless to say I will probably have a lot of drunk guests at dinner...Oh well. Let me know how many people are in your party....I wish I could fly down a few days earlier to see your ceremony so I could get feedback from you
  4. Hey ladies, I am also getting married at Yucatan on January 16th 2009....Jill, will you still be there? What time is your ceremony? Are you doing garden or beach? Religious or civil? I have been in contact with them, I really don't like Cynthya at all, she is really rude, but I like the hotel management, they are pretty accomodating. I have thought about cancelling my wedding at the Yucatan and doing what Magda did, but it's tough. Magda, can you tell me more about how your ceremony went? How many people? Where did you do dinner? Did you enjoy dinner? Did you do cocktail hour and a dance? Was it expensive? Anything and everything you can tell me would be fantastic!! Thanks
  5. Ok, seriously, don't get married on the beach at the Yucatan!!! Yikes, I'm suppose to have my ceremony on the beach at this resort on January 16th 09?? The garden was much better? What did your wedding party do after the dinner? I was told to bring a cd and go to the disco? Did the hotel make the dinner menus for you and have them placed? You brought everything else for the place settings I'm assuming? Did you do pictures with you husband before the ceremony? My fiance wants to wait until after....he doesn't want to see me until I walk down the aisle Cocktail hour: Top shelf liquor or just rail stuff? Sorry for all the questions, just really anxious, especially about the ceremony part. Yikes!! Thank you!
