@@vancouverpetunia I know!  How frustrating!  We can use this offer of 50/50 at any time, so I'm going to see how I do without it for now...

 

I went to the gym last night, and then spin again this morning - trying to get it in as much as I can until my membership cuts out.

@@calgarybride2015 There are 2 bikes, I could definitely use them but it's not the same as someone yelling at you for an hour lol.  I feel like at this moment I can't justify the cost when I have a gym in my building... with 50% it's a decent price though so I'm going to see how I get on for the next month or two and decide from there.  Such terrible timing for them to do this, I'm less than 7 months from leaving for Mexico  :(

I'd say given it upsets you and you are 7 months out is justification enough :) one less lunch out or a couple Starbucks makes up the fee. Heheh I'm trying to help (although I have no idea if you eat out or like Starbucks!!)

I think I'm being stubborn and it's the principal of it - they took something away from us and I don't want to give in... but I guess I'm just hurting myself in the end.  Like I said, I will see how I get on over the next month or two and I can sign up at anytime.

I feel you 100%. Similiar but not the same -- I signed a contract at work for reduced hours daily as I had no childcare for my kids. They took it back and wouldn't even let me take 15 mins less at lunch so I could still get my kids to school (cause taking a 1 hour lunch appears to be mandatory lol). Could I have found care and made it work? Sure but they gave me a contract then revoked it, so I quit. I hated the place anyways -- that was just the final straw hahah.

Ok I've been MIA all week. I haven't been this sick in such a long time. I've had no energy and I swear i'm going to start looking like chicken noodle soup soon haha. Today I felt pretty decent and managed to go out shopping and to Starbucks which means come tomorrow i'm going to try and get back to my healthy eating and exercising. I just found out that I should be able to go pick up my dress in 3 weeks and I have to make sure it still fits so that mean lots of veggies and lots of sweating it up in the gym! Hopefully the gym doesn't destroy me after a week off. Wish me luck!

 

Also, well done to those of you fighting through every day! You are inspiring me to keep pushing! Keep it up ladies!

Hope everyone starts to feel better soon!!! Must be the season ugh!

 

I've kept at it. Worked out as I said I would yay! Last weekend Shawn and i went downtown and I drank a bit too much. So not overly surprised I only lost .4 this week. That's a total of 4 lbs total. This weekend I stayed on track. Had a baby shower to attend and didn't blow it woohoo. Went over a little cause it's hard when you didn't prepare the food. Hope that nets a nice loss this week. Still have a long ways to go but proud of myself! And proud of all you it's a hard battle.

Sorry to hear about all of these bugs going around!  I hope everyone who is not feeling well feels better soon!

 

For those of you sticking to your goals - thank you!  It's super motivating.

 

I myself, although I am losing my spin classes, am super motivated today.  I had a moment yesterday when I was deleting pictures, trying to make some room on my iPhone for the Wedding DJ app and I saw so many progress pictures that I've taken over the last year and a half.  What got me wasn't that I wasn't happy with any of them, but that I have taken so many - so many times I've started over with a great mentality and never fully committed or saw it through to the end result that I want.  I can't let that happen this time, this is too big a moment in my life to look back with regret that I didn't fully commit myself to this journey.

 

Rant over.  Bottom line - no excuses!   :ph34r:
