Has anyone used or planning on using Beach Wedding Studio? They are the in house photographer at Excellence and just wanted to see if anyone had personal experience with them.

Thanks in advance!

@@Sabes44 I am wondering the same thing.  I am considering them, but their packages seem very high and don't offer a whole lot (for the lower priced options).

Have you found any other more reasonable photographers?  So far the only ones I have found are a lot more expensive.  We are getting a photographer to capture our legal wedding as well and have 2 photographers in the group.  So, I want to make sure I have great pictures, but not over pay for pictures that I don't need.

Hey there - I actually just signed up here to write our photographers a review, and thought I'd share my find! We did a lot of research and ended up finding Bohemia Photography and loved them! They're a cute, young married couple from the US, but since they're just starting out in Mexico, we got a really great deal. Every other photographer we contacted was either WAY overpriced, or had not so great photos. I'm not sure if they're still offering such great package prices, but it's worth checking out.  Good luck!

Oh their website is www.bohemia-photography.com (its a little hard to find on the net)

@@Sabes44  you need to be careful that the photographer you select has enough experience by himself to perform such an important event, there is nothing left after the day, just pictures, they can tell 1000 words if they are greatly captured

In case you need to see what outside photographers can do, check this out, will help a lot! I think!

Thanks @@MissyIndia!  I am thinking we might end up with Juan Navarro now, but I will check them out before I commit.  Do you have any pics you are willing to share?

Thanks!

Hi @@Sabes44

Sorry for the delayed reply - Anyway, they're great. Very professional, I felt like they've been doing it for awhile, just newish to the area. If you'd like to, you can log-in to my gallery on their website to see my photos. I'm an artist, so I asked them if they could make some of my photos more artistic/dramatic and they understood exactly what I was describing- very my style, so mine might be unique to their usual, but if you want to have a look:

The gallery ID and password are banyan14

Good luck!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
