Where are you all getting your linen stuff for the guys? And are you contributing at all to the groomsmen's attire? I feel like all the places I have looked have seemed very expensive and I hate to ask them all to pay that when they are already paying for the trip, etc. Any suggestions are welcome!

Not sure where you live. I'm in Toronto and our guys are wearing linen pants and hawain style shirts.  They got their linen pants at The Bay, they were $59.99 and their shirts were bought at Costco for $30.00.  We aren't contributing, I figure the guys spent a lot less than the girls and we didn't contribute to the girl's dresses.

We leave Tuesday for Cuba and getting married May 2nd. 65 guests in total!

@@Marti I'm in the U.S. Not sure we have that store here but maybe I can look online. That is definitely a lot cheaper than what I was looking at so far! And we are also not contributing to our girls for dresses but they are fairly inexpensive as well, about $130 each. I wanted to keep the guys stuff at that or under. I will keep looking! Thanks so much for the info and have a wonderful trip and beautiful wedding! Its just next week. Ahhhh!!!!   :)

Have a wonderful time and make sure you post pics and give a report when you get back!! All the best!

danielleandryan2015   The Bay is a canadian store and believe me, shipping between canada and the US is expensive so probably not worth the trouble. There are a couple of places that you could look at that are in the US. You could check out Tommy Bahama online. They also have a few stores around the States and have a specific destination wedding section. You may find them a bit pricey for what you want. Just check the website - tommybahama.com   There is also a website called islandimporters.com  They do all kinds of Caribbean style shirts and pants and might be a little more reasonable in price for you. Don't know what state you're in but Kohl's also has a silk shirt section starting about this time of year. Short sleeve and some nice patterns depending on what you want. I'm not certain but I think someone also mentioned Macy's for men's linen pants or JCP, and Kohls again. My husband got his wedding pants at Kohls. My stepson lives in the US so we go all the time to see our grandchildren. oh yes, and there is always Mens Warehouse. If you catch their sales you can get some good deals.

Hope that helps! Good luck!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
