Day Of Coordinator Price...

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone,

I was trying to find a day of coordinator to help with my vow renewal in Dec. I have now planned nearly the entire thing myself and of course have the resort coordinator. I need a day of coordinator to help me pull it all together on the day.

Have any of you used a day or coordinator? What was his/her fee?

I should mention this is just a ceremony and a private dinner that is being arranged by the Hilton, no rehersal or reception or guests, just my husband and I. We will need the coordinator to be there for about 4-5 hours max.

I have been quoted the following for this:

$3,500
$3,000
$1,500
$600
$500

All of those do not include tax. The person who quoted me $500 is not my favorite. She seems a little unorganized and two different people from their company were emailing me at once when I was already speaking with one of the other coordinators...

The person who quoted me $600 seems very nice and responsive. $600 was a little more than I was hoping to spend.

The other three in my opinion are crazy!

How much have you guys paid for your day of coordinator?

Any recommendations?

I expect the resort coordinator to coordinate all of the things I am booking through the resort. But I have opted out of some of the resort offered services and hired my own outside vendors. I would like some to coordinate these outside vendors on the day of and help me personally. My husband and I will be traveling alone so I will even need someone to help me get dressed..lol :) I am looking for someone who has my personal wants and needs in mind. It is common to hire an outside coordinator even though the resort offers one. I also want my personal coordinator to oversee the set up of the ceremony and decor by the resort, to make sure things are just the way I want them to be :)

Hi!

I'm not sure if you have emailed Illeana Reyes from Romantic Cabo Weddings yet or if she even does day of wedding coordination, but I'm using her for my upcoming wedding.  She has been great so far!  She responds quickly to emails.  Also, I met her during my last trip to Cabo and she is super nice!

Cool, I'm sure it will be great to be pampered all day!

Hello AnnabelleMFriend,

As wedding coordinator in the Riviera Maya, I would advice to take someone that you feel a good connection with, especially because you would rather have them as your personal assistant.  anything less than $1000 usd is reasonable for the amount of time you want them to be available for you.

Happy Planning.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
