I researched for a long time to find the best website to order our STDs and Magnetstreet was the easiest, best quality and most affordable.  I finally received my STDs yesterday and they came out so good I can't wait to start putting them together and mail them out.  I wanted to give my guests over a year notice so that's why I'm sending them so early.  I'm not sure what to do about addressing them though labels, print directly on the envelope or hand write the names and addresses?  Also i'm thinking of doing some fun stamps with our dogs picture on it to include him somehow since he won't be at our wedding.  I need to figure that part out.

Any feedback would be appreciated.  cheesy.gif

Hi NJBride2014!! We have a few things in common! I'm from NJ and also getting married next year! My STD are also from Magnet Street lol. I totally agree with you, they were super easy to design and very inexpensive! I haven't ordered mine yet but I got a sample one and I looved it! I'll be ordering the rest in a few weeks. I think I will be printing addresses on clear labels. As far as the stamps try Zazzle.com you can costumize your stamps. I'm planning to get a life size cut out of my dog to incorporate him in the wedding. My FI doesn't know about so it will be a complete surprise to see our dog at the wedding! Happy Planning! :)

Hi Lori,

I see we do have a few things in common.  It's funny that you mention the dog cut out, my fiance and I saw it on Del Sol Photography site and we also wanted to order one to use for our engagement pics that we are taking in Mexico in Oct. at our site visit.  Have you found a website where you can order one?  I've been looking and haven't really found a good site.  My fiance is obsessed with our dog so any way we can include him we are all for it.  I loved working with Magnet Street and the samples were great to see in person and the discounts they gave were great.  Thanks for the advice on the stamps i'll try looking at zazzle.com and see if I can come up with something cute.  Good luck to you on the wedding planning and I'm sure your FI will love the surprise!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
