Carnival Breeze Wedding Review

Hi Ladies!! So I just got married on the Carnival Breeze on May 6, 2013.. I know theres not much information out there for carnival brides so I thought I'd share my experience! Our entire wedding day was perfect! We got married in Key West at the Westin Resort which was beautiful and right off the boat, then went to the beach for some pictures.  From 2pm - 4pm we had a cocktail reception in the piano bar.  I debated having it here or the club incase my guests wanted to dance, but the piano bar was perfect.  It was elegant and everyone had a great time.  I had 47 people in there.  They announced us and we did a first dance, then a father daughter dance, followed immediately by toast and cake cutting.  The food was delicous and the set up was way more then we expected. After the reception the photographer took us around the entire boat for pictures which turned out great.  We only bought a few rather than a large package since it was only a small part of our wedding day.We had a reservation that night for all of us in the steak house which was the best meal we had all week and then just partied on the deck and nightclub the rest of the night! The wedding planner was amazing.  I had my own cake topper and favors and just dropped them off at guest services the night before and everything was set up when we got there.

Carnival was great with dinner reservations too.  Almost everynight my entire group was able to eat together!  I have pictures of the reception and piano bar and the rest of the wedding but it will not allow me to post on here so just message me if your interested or have any questions!

Congrats! I'm so happy you had your perfect day! And thank you for posting your review! Of all the things to obsess over, dining times is giving me a huge headache! Did you have a set dining time for your group? And did they have you at several tables close together?

We all had anytime dining and just had to go down together. They wouldn't seat us until everyone was there but it was usually 40 people divided between 3 tables next to each other. A lot easier than I thought it was going to be. If you have early or late dining I know your assigned tables so it is probably different!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
