Iberostar Paraíso Maya & Lindo Brides 2014!!!

Recommended Posts

We have the Dream package, is that the same package?  Yuritzi with Iberostar had told us about DJ Doremix, I think that is who we are going with as well!

Thank you again!

Yes, we have the dream package too :) I'm working with Yuritzi as well, she's great!

Hi everyone, I am also looking at the Iberostar Paraiso Lindo for 2015 and I have two questions:

I noticed the extra cost per person is $20/$25. Does that include food and drinks?

Also, what are the menu options?

Thanks!

Hi shelikespink!

Congrats on your upcoming wedding :) My fiancé and I are getting married at the Lindo. We went with the Dream package and that was $5,000 for 30 people. Our guest list is now up to 87 people so we will have to pay $25 for each additional person staying at the lindo resort. We have a few guests staying at other resorts and we are going to be charged more, I think it was like $60 a person. That covers their food and drinks.

My wedding reception will be on the beach, so they will only allow us to have a buffet style dinner. The buffet comes with so many different varieties of food, chicken, beef, fish, lobster, salad, sides. The guests are going to have a lot to choose from :)

Please let me know if you have any other questions!

Hi Ashleyhozey!

Congrats on your upcoming wedding! My wedding is April 17th at the Iberostar Paraiso Lindo! You won't hear from the wedding coordinator until about 4 months before your wedding. My fiancé and I decided to use a Travel Agency to assist our guests with booking rooms, questions, etc. Our Travel Agency is Dreamers Travel. They had direct contact with the wedding coordinators so I was able to access them with any questions I had about my wedding well in advance. We have picked our flowers, decorations, Dj, and photographer. We are now just getting into planning out all the final details! :)

Please let me know if you have any questions!

I think the cocktail hour location will depend on where you are having the ceremony. My ceremony is going to be on the beach and the cocktail hour will be held on the beach as well.

Congrats on your upcoming wedding!! My wedding is on April 17th at the Paraiso Lindo!! My family and I are arriving on the 12th :) We have been working with Yuritzi, she has been really helpful. We are having and beach ceremony as well. Still waiting to plan out all the final details!

We are getting married at the Iberostar Grand in July and we've been in contact with Deisy in the Sales Office. Although she isn't going to be our coordinator, I've asked her multiple questions and have been able to secure quite a few details well in advance. We have the Restaurant for the Reception since deciding not to have it outside, the location of the ceremony and cocktail hour, we confirmed the beach for the welcome party and the timing for everything to help with our invitations. As long as you have a contact at the hotel, you should be able to get some questions answered and not have to wait until you begin talking to the WC. Good luck

Thanks for the info @@MindyandDax!

That's great!

Are you having a DJ and dancing? Also, is there a charge for a private rehearsal dinner/welcome dinner? I was hoping to do that but I don't want to pay per person..

Hi! Congrats on your upcoming wedding. We are getting married in July at the Grand and we've chosen to do a beach welcome dinner the night before the wedding.  We had to reserve the beach well in advance. The menu does cost per person, anywhere from $20-$50. It includes a lot of options and drinks.

For the Reception we decided to have it inside a restaurant overlooking the beach because we didn't want a buffet. My contact at the hotel just sent me the menu options that are offered at that restaurant for receptions so we have lots of options and they all look amazing.

Hi everyone I need your help my wedding is in 37 days and have been waiting on Christane from Iberostar Paraiso Del Mar since 02/12/14. Does anyone have phone numbers or email address?

Candy

Oh wow.  I'm getting married @ the Grand in July and usually wait 2-3 days at the most to hear back from my contact, Deisy. [email protected] is the email address I email back and forth with. It may be a general one but she responds to it so you might be able to get some answers by emailing this address. Good luck!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
