Bridemaid dress drama

Recommended Posts

Is anyone else letting their bridesmaid choose their dresses? I figured it would be easier and my bridemaids are two very different body types and sizes...now they're arguing over which exact shade of coral to buy, as the only request I had was that it be coral...Anyone have thoughts? has anyone else just had their girls choose their own dresses? and how did it work out?

luckily for me my BM were really easy going. I brought one with me to try on a few... Once we narrowed it down I took my other 2 girls. I let them decide between 2 styles. It worked out well, they all choose the same one, even though they care completely different body types and sizes.

How many bridesmaids are  you having?

Just the two, because I have a bridesman...what he's gonna wear is another story altogether. I don't know what I'd be getting myself into if I had more bridesmaids...I just thought with two they'd be able to agree...Wrong.

Haha don't worry... My bridesmaids do not get along at all. Could you maybe pick a designer that has a few different styles (ie. strapless, one shoulder etc) and they can choose their own dress? That way the colour is the exact same??

If not try not to sweat it.. Because its only 2 of them it won't look bad that they have different shades.

My girls are picking their own... I just requested teal but from there they can choose whatever. Have you thought about letting them pick different shades of coral? Like this:

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
