Hi ladies!!

 

I am looking at everyone's posts about the Barcelo Maya Palace and getting so excited to start planning our wedding!! It looks like everyone had a "large" guest list. My fiance and I are only anticipating 15-20 people, including ourselves and our son. I would love to hear about smaller weddings some of you had at the BMP and what packages you went with.

 

We are looking at February 22, 2014 as our big day. I know I want to hire an outside photographer, any suggestions and prices would be a HUGE help.

Small weddings are gorgeous and intimate.  You actually have a very nice sized group going!

 

I photographed a wedding there back a few years and they had fewer guests.  They actually opted for the beach location instead of the gazebo, but as shown in the pictures above by Pierre, the gazebo location is great for just a few people too.

Congrats Jessica! + welcome to the forum :) the Barcelo is the perfect location for weddings with around 20 guests or so which are wonderfully initimate and special ! plus with the amazing photo record a professional photographer captures, creates lifelong memories to share with eveyone back home who couldn't make it to your destination wedding..... win / win !

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
