Has anyone work with wedding coordinator Luisa from Weddings Rivieramaya???

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone, Just wondering if anyone has worked with Luisa from Weddings Rivieramaya or anyone from that company? I met her personally last week in Playa de Carmen and she was so lovely, pleasant and overall must great. However you always have to question and double check. I recently had a friend in Colorado have a WC disappear weeks before her wedding which has made me so nervous about making a choice. But if anyone could give me feed back I would really appreciate it very much. Please give me some peace of mind j/k but any feedback is great!!!!

As fotographer, I have often worked on weddings planned by Luisa. I can say that she is very involved with her clients!

Hi, I wish I had seen this sooner! Hopefully you've made the decision to work with Luisa. I used Luisa and LOVE her. I was married in November at Grand Coral and her and her team made our day absolutely perfect. She made sure to keep my nerves calm by scheduling phone calls and answering my emails in a timely manner. It's nerve wracking having someone in another country plan your entire wedding, thankfully, Luisa has been doing this for a long time and knows the ins and outs. She guided me through the whole process and kept me at ease. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding. Everything I imagined, she was able to make happen. If some of my thoughts weren't doable, she always gave great suggestions. In the months before the wedding, I communicated with her so much via email, when I met her, I felt like she was a friend, not my wedding planner. Luisa has a great heart and loves what she does and it shows through in the great work she does. I would definitely recommend Luisa and her team to anyone planning to get married in the Riviera Maya. I may even use her again for my vow renewal in a few years (ssshhhhh don't tell my husband, he doesn't know yet) ;)

Hi future bride, we are the happy couple of the pictures:) Married last May in Playa del Carmen. We are living in Amsterdam so we experienced the long destination wedding planning cycle the fullest. Started exploring 2 years ago, 1 weddingplanner later(dissapeared) Luisa helped us organising an amazing beach wedding. Even with us high demanding European minded she kept patient and provided us with the main vendors. In the end it was very nice to have our input(a lot)and ideas combined with the network and expertise of Luisa. In the process she was postive minded and trustworthy. Summarized: if you look for a positive and a weddingplanner you can trust we would say pick Luisa. She will manage to make your day to an unforgetable one. We hope you will have a lot of prep fun and enjoy every minute of it! Saludos desde Amsterdam

Hi Melissa,

Not sure if this is too late, but thought it was worth a try. I worked with Luisa totally blind and trusting she would do a great job, I had not met her before. She not only exceeded our expectations, but was as warm and sweet as you mention in your initial post. We spoke on the phone several times and she was patient answering any and all questions I had. I had a gut feeling she was the right one and she did not disappoint. Excellent and professional every step on the way, she has been doing this for a while and it shows. Trust her judgment and her advice, you won't regret it!

We had Pierre do our photography and well, if you have seen his work, then you know the rest of the story, worth every penny for both of these gems!!!

Hope this helps!

Thanks,

Karla

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
