I am still not sure of a timeline or if we are going rent out Uncle Tony's for the private reception or not. I think we are going wait to we get  a better idea of how many guests we are having. Our ceremony is at 5:30pm. Not sure if we are going do a cocktail hour before or after (or do one at all), we are definitely going eat dinner after the ceremony. At this point I have no idea what we are going to do after dinner but know that we wil most likely end up (late night) at the Disco.

Also, just wanted to share that Iberostar Resorts (Montego Bay) have recently created a Facebook page. I thinks its another good way for us to communicate and get our questions answers. If you have problems with the link, search for Iberostar Resorts Brides & Weddings on FB.

I'm getting married at the Beach on May 16th 2013.

My plan is the beach for the ceremony, Uncle Tony's for dinner, non-private, then over to the Disco! At least that's what I'm hoping, nothing set in stone. We're having about 26 people.

We're also doing OOT Bags.

Does anyone know what the Beaches provides for decorations? (as in the ones that are included in the package)

I've heard something like they may have chair sashes in white, silver, and gold but nothing for sure from them, just what I've read from other threads.

There is a great new Facebook page for future Iberostar Brides being run by 2 of the photographers on the island. It gives lots of info and pictures of set ups. Check it out:

It's called: "Iberostar Resorts Brides & Weddings", like them on FB

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
