any all inclusive hotels on beach for around $100/person per night?

Hi, I just posted in your other thread but a travel agent is the best person to quote you rates.  If you don't have one try contacting one of ours.  They are very experienced with booking destination weddings.  You can contact them HERE!

HEY!

At this point, I can almost be a travel agent, lol!!

I have searched and searched, using Bookit.com and Travelocity.com, as a way to get a good idea of what resorts would be in my/guest price range.  There are a TON of all-inclusive resorts that are very affordable!

Grand Sunset/Grand Rivieria, Ocean Coral, Ocean Maya, Sandos Playacar...

I found that if you go a little bit more per night, you get more bang for your buck!

My suggestion is to do something a little more expensive, because it seems that you really do get what you pay for, and tell your guests that they can do 5 or 6 nights to make it more affordable than a 7 night stay.

Now with all that being said, GO SEE A LOCAL TRAVEL AGENT!

I know it is cheaper to just book online, but I have decided to go with a travel agent for a few reasons:

1) They will be more than happy to check a TON of places for you and offer helpful tips on places.

2) They will let you know about great specials places are running right now

3) Most travel agents will be able to get a "group discount" for flight and room packages

4) You can direct your guests to just go to the travel agent, avoids confusion on dates, flights, etc.

5) Most travel agents will let you and your guests make a DEPOSIT and then make PAYMENTS!  I think this is by far the best reason to use a travel agent and this is really the main reason I wanted to use a TA.  It is FAR easier and FAR more affordable for your friends and family to make a small deposit and make payments, than it is to plunk down $2000-$3000 per couple at one time!  I find that more of my friends are able to go since we are doing a payment/deposit thing with a TA!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
