Sandals Royal Caribbean Question about planning activities

Recommended Posts

Getting married this fall at Sandals Royal Caribbean and just had a question

I'm trying to find a list of activities, events, and times so we can pre-plan for our guests. In addition to excursions I'd really like to know what is available at which times so we can have at least a few optional group activities planned ahead of time.

Also, any other advice on planning group activities (or anything royal caribbean related) would be appreciated.

I just got back from there & married on 9/10/11!

Monday nights are the "White Party" they have a Best Dressed Couple contest

Friday is The Beach Bash, with fire eaters & dancers. You want to wear Jamaican colors (black, red, yellow, green)

Saturday night they have live bands

definatly want to make reservations asap for the French restaurant-Le Jardinere, The Thai restarant & I highly suggest trying 2 restaurants at the Sandals Montego Bay. (Tokyo Joes right before sunset! & The Italian restaurant)

The BEST money we spent the entire trip was to do an excursion to Mystic Mountain. They have a Sky Lift, Zip Lining, Bobsledding & an infinity pool that is 1000 feet above the island looking down at the ocean, beach & gorgeous flowers! Seriously the prettiest sight I ever saw! We did not zipline so it was $120 for sky lift & bobsledding with free pool & waterslide. if you zipline its $160. Then you can go to Dunn's River Falls to climb a waterfall for an extra $15-Which is a MUST!!!! Bring a water camera to take breathtaking pics!!!! We went on a Thursday, left at 9:30am & got back at 5:30pm. They stop at Sandals Ocho Rios to let you have free lunch & drinks around 2pm.

Please let me know if you have ANY questions regarding Royal Caribbean! I have lots of pics too!

Wow, nice!  Thank you for all the info!  If you dont mind me asking, how many guests did you have?  Did youn choose one of the Martha Stewart wedding themes?  Were up in the air right now about which extras to choose... is there anything you chose & loved, or chose & disliked/could have done without?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
