I'm curious on what you mean by hard time?  Are you referring to the time it takes to receive a response on emails?  Remember, island time!  Responses get quicker the closer you are to your wedding date, so just be patient! :)  There's a reason you chose to have a DW, less stress!  No worries!!!

Well Im with you on that. And for the most part it has been stressless and carefree. But you hit the nail right on the head. Im getting emails back after several days of waiting. She doesnt seem pressed about pretty much anything. Very nice woman and VERY laid back. My wedding is May 14 and as of last night we FINALLY got our wedding total $$ and ironed out some details that we have been waiting for days to get. I had to suck it up and call her because she just does not respond to emails fast at all. When she does respond to emails she is vauge and doesnt answer all the questions asked.

ojhendrix are you getting married may 14, 2012? that's also my wedding date

so maybe i'll see you there.

but yes simone is my W/C  and she does take a few days to reply and doesnt go in details when you ask questions.

i've emailed her twice about the menus and she said its still not ready.

I've found that i'm becomming stressed because time is flying by and i'm not sure what to do next

she's not being helpful.

Honestly, no reason to stress!!  I just had a perfect wedding there and there really isn't anything you need to do prior besides booking your date, location, reception and entertainment.  About a 1-2 months prior to your wedding, you will fill out 3 forms (menu, flowers, music) and that's all you really need.  They go over everything once you get there and ask you what you want again, so no really pre-planning with them at all.  Just know what you want when you go down.  Seriously, really easy and definitely no reason to stress!!!

I would warn you not to use Simone Clarke as your wedding planner. Her negative energy and negative spirit will only leave you in dismay! She is not a nice person and does not have the capability to be a wedding planner, I understand she has been a planner for over two years. I should have dismissed her off of my planning when Ana Lisa said the lady in front of us is Simone and she turned around and responded my name is not Simone and she is right the name is too beautiful for her evil spirit! You have been warned! I would recommend you use Anna Lisa!!! My vowel renewal experience was ruined because her!!!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
