Things did not work out with the coordinator Jeniffer from The Event Mexico who is in Chicago she would not work with Jimmy's prices that I was quoted.  She was going to be charging much much more.  It was a waste of my time dealing with her.  I went with Jimmy's in house coordinator Odette and could not be happier.  She has a blackberry and answers my blackberry messages within minutes.  She even has sent me pictures of all of the events as they are setting up so I can see the table set up, decorations, and cakes.  I am soo excited for my wedding.

 

If you want a private reception on the beach this is the place for you!  If you want information I would be happy to help.

Just wondering how your wedding at Matorca went?  I've been going back and forth between Bucerias and Nuevo Vallarta and I just can't decide on a venue for our May 2013 wedding.  I was looking at Villa del Palmar Flamingos and Paradise Village in Nuevo Vallarta, but then I came across Matorca and it looks so beautiful!!  I'm just not sure if it will fit with my budget ($10-$12k for 100 people).  The pictures on the website look amazing, but I'm thinking those are "high end" weddings.  Did you go with all his recommended vendors or did you find your own that were cheaper?  How was the music, food, set up?  I'm going to e-mail him but thought I'd get feedback from someone who's used their services.  Any info, feedback, suggestions would be appreciated.  Thanks!!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
