    Hello ladies,

Has anyone stayed at the Grand Wailea for your honeymoon? Is it a good spot for it?

    Thanks!

    Sarah

      Aloha Sarah!

I haven't stayed there but I've had dinner at Humuhumu and the resort was amazing!!

Would definitely recommend at least visiting the Grand Wailea while honeymooning on Maui.

We rented a private condo in Lahaina for our week vacation this past May.

We are getting married in Maui next May and will probably go the condo route again. It was so nice to cook if we wanted, and our room had a "guaranteed" ocean view for a fraction of the cost. Free parking too.

      Good luck!

        Thanks a lot Jackpot!

I want to be pampered on my honeymoon so I'm thinking the resort route probably makes sense. :)

I loved the Grand Wailea, however, we were there for a company trip with the top sales people so we had about 300 plus people. I know it's a hotel that a lot of companies use for their incentive travel so that may be something you take into consideration. However, it's a fun hotel with the water slides and just a beautiful hotel overall. It's also walking distance to the shopping center next door and not too far a drive into Lahaina. to do more shopping and checking out the tourist shops and cruise ships docked.

Thank you! We already booked the Grand Wailea so hopefully it will be fun and romantic even with the business trips around us. :)
