I am so mad because I asked about what they could offer me for a site visit and they just gave me a room price of $145 a night!! They didn't offer anything for free. I am however not having guests stay there either...but still, I am paying for their expensive suite, food and liquor!!!!
The cheese boutique will be for the cocktail hour, which is going to be on Whales Terrace. We'll then move up to the ballroom level and have dinner on the Terrace there. No appetizers besides the cheese boutique b/c they are so darn expensive and for our size wedding we would have to order like 10 of each kind which adds up quickly.

We had the free site visit in our contract but I'm sure it's just b/c of the freaking # of room nights we have blocked...it's ridiculous!

OKay...well maybe we won't do much appetizers either...I have to look it all over again. They are expensive...they told me that if I sign the contract by october this year I can lock in this years food rates but I have to put down a 50% deposit that is non-refundable. They won't lock in the bar rates though! They sure love to stiff us there!! :)

Yeah I figured I wouldn't get special deals since we aren't booking rooms there and I totally understand that!! :) The more you give them the more they should give you back!!! :)
