You did an awesome job..  They are beautiful.  How much did you end up spending on everything for your invites.

I forgot to ask what kind of paper did you use for the inside ?  Did you use metallic shimmer cardstock for the cover ? Thanks

Thanks so much!!!  Sorry for the delayed response, we actually just got back from our wedding/honeymoon getaway yesterday!!

 

I did use a metallic shimmer cardstock for the outside cover.  I actually just purchased precut cards from JoAnn's and then cut them a little on my own to fit the passport size perfectly.  You can order almost the same paper online at http://www.paper-papers.com/metallic-paper.html -- it would be the curious metallic cover weight paper.  For the inside pages I just used a nicer type of printer paper that you could get anywhere like staples or office depot.

 

As far as costs are concerned, I spent the following for 25 invites:

 

$10 -- Aylee Bits template (best money I could have ever spent!)

$5 -- corner punch

$15 -- card stock w/ envelopes (they came 6 to a pack)

 

and of course whatever I used of the ink...

 

Hope that helps!! It IS a lot of work, but it was totally worth it in the end.

I downloaded the same template but I can not figure out how to get the background (with all the stamps) of the word file to change into color like the pdf.  How did you do yours?

Hi your passport invites looks great , Do you mind sharing your template. I purchased the template from Aylee but im having trouble with it i just need some ideas to start with
