Engagement part 4

Wow, after that night, we would just look at each other and start giggling, it was like after 5 years we had just met. The most interesting part of the whole thing and why i had no idea, was that we never talked about getting married, never once in 5 years did we even utter the words. people would ask and we just would talk right over them. I was happy with the way things were but of course i wanted to marry him, i just didn't expect it to be anytime soon. It was a nice surprise.

The next day we went and looked a the Louvre and visited the Mona lisa, which I had wanted to see so badly since my Art History class in college.

It was incredible. After the Louvre we went wondering again and found the most perfect vegan cafe that was everything you think paris cafe's are like, and it was vegan! at that point, i didn't ever want to leave. It was located in a cute little neighborhood where outside people were walking their dogs and going to the local market. I could have stared out that window all day.

Soon after we had to leave to go back to London. We took the train back and his mom was picking us up from the train station. We arrived back in London and his mom called, and thats when it hit us both that it was real. And now we have to tell people. We both decided to wait and see if she would notice, or at least wait until she was not driving. The entire time in the car she is looking at my ring, but didn't say anything. We all got back to the house and got ready for dinner and she was talking about how much she loved my jacket and looking at the ring and still... nothing. So she said lets have some champagne! but she often likes to have champagne, so I don't think it was because she knew. Finally we popped open the champagne and He told her and she screamed it was great! she was very happy for us. We went out and celebrated that night and she told everyone we ran into, perfect strangers included!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
