Hilton Los Cabos--Spa Oasis

Recommended Posts

Hola!

I am looking for reviews about the Spa Oasis at the Hilton Los Cabos. I am interested in mani/pedi pre-wedding spa party and day-of hair.

If you have insight, please do tell!

Gracias! Stephanie

I agree! I've searched for posts, but they're not very current and didn't provide a lot of details.

The Spa has this package that includes day-before, private mani/pedi with all your bridemaids, plus day-of hair and make-up with champagne and cheese/crackers for $170/person.

I am not very interested in the make-up b/c I feel like I won't look like myself and I am pretty good at it myself. But its so close to the Melia Cabo Real. It would be such a fun event to pamper ourselves the day before and not have to travel very far for the day of hair styling.

I mean--how can you screw up a mani/pedi, right? I am just unsure about the hair/up-do's.

Have a good day!

yeah i saw that package too! i'd be cool but i have gel nails and will be getting gel toe nails for the wedding so it doesn't really work for me and most of my bridesmaids have gel nails also!

were you able to contact someone from spa oasis? i called and spoke with rodolfo and he told me to just send the info by email as to who the appointment is for, what kind of appointment , preferred date, preferred time and if you prefer a male or female (but i think that is only for facials/massages/ etc...). i haven't had a response yet but it's only been a day...i will try tomorrow - yeah i think its great that its next door. i hope they are able to squueze my bridesmaids and i in for my wedding day.

p.s. have a good rest of the weekend~

My wedding was over a year ago sorry, but I did mani/pedis the day before my wedding. They did a very good job, though there wasn't a huge color selection (instead of 20 pinks to choose from, maybe 5-10). My flower girl and DH's sisters had their hair done at Hilton spa. Wasn't overly impressed with DH sister updos, but I don't know what they requested and if that's what they wanted. Generally, the Hilton has a very nice spa, was just there again this past May and had a great massage, but I ran into the same issue when I was planning my wedding - not enough reviews or info to feel comfortable going with them for hair/make-up. Good luck!

Sounds good!  I am sure I have more than enough time to plan everything, but sometimes I just want to cross if off my 'to do' list!

Good luck on the 12th!  Are you planning on a trial-run?

Enjoy the next few months--I am sure they'll fly by!  :-)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
