Gracie-

If you need any other references for Maui vendors-- I had the ROCK STAR team. I fell in love with them all and I really felt like they made everything so much more special. Especially my florist/decorator. But then again, my photographer, caterers, DJ, officiant all were OUT OF THIS WORLD!! And yes... I had a BLAST planning my wedding too!! It was such an amazing time... no drama, no stress, just lots and lots of Aloha :)

But yes, tell Cherise I sent you. She'll be tickled! I've helped a few other girls from the PW forum- and they've gone with all the vendors I used too and are just FLOORED with the team I put together. And it's so fun for me to spread the love too <I'm in it for the warm fuzzies> :)

Hi Tovaqt,

I'm also a newbie, checking out the forums for ideas. I just checked out your coordinator's website and saw the private Maui estates option...that sounds like a really good idea. Very private and intimate. May I ask which location you chosed?

I can't wait for your pictures to be posted.

Thank you for all the helpful information.

I probably won't be of any help! I have 10 days left till my wedding and 5 days before I leave for Maui and I still have A LOT of stuff to do. smile35.gif

The welcome bags, welcome letters, escort cards, wedding favors, packing, etc. haven't even been started. BangHead.gif

  • 3 weeks later...

Tovaqt,

I loved reading your planning blog. I had planned for a Mexico wedding and just last week I found out that the resort that I chose was sold to an independent contractor. So I am starting from ground zero again and I am really loving Maui for my DW. My only concern will be my accommodations for my guests. But I am definitely interested in using your vendors! Your wedding photos were AWESOME!

@ Erica: Thanks for the compliments sweets! If you need any help drop me a message. I'd be happy to help anyway I can. ALL my vendors were out of this world (and budget friendlier than most) and I'm more than comfortable to recommend them 110%. As far as accommodations- there are several options for you and your guests that aren't going to totally break the bank.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
