Gran Bahia Principe Dinner Options

Recommended Posts

Hi Girls!

For those that are getting married at the Gran Bahia Principe or have gotten married there, how did you pick your wedding menu? The wedding coordinator gave me menu options, but they are so limited! Either my guests have all chicken, all beef, or all seafood. How do they expect all my guests to agree on ONE dish? Some of my guests like beef, while others like chicken. Picking ONE dish to choose is CRAZY! I'm so stressed! msncry.gif

Think about it this way and hopefully it will make you less stressed....if you were to get married at home you would more than likely only have picked one main entree. As a chef I've worked many weddings and maybe out of every 20 weddings we have 1 that will give their guests a beef, chicken, fish option.

People understand so choose what you and your fiance like! Just be sure to give beverly any info on what certain people are allergic too, to make sure your not stressing about it when you get down there!

Hope that helped!

Hey, that's just the way it is with most dinner functions, you get one dinner option, it's really not a big deal. everyone likes chicken...and if they don't...too bad or get a veg dish. we chose all our meals when we got there. i think we got beef for everyone as we are Alberta beef lovers, but i wanted seafood so Beverly ordered me a seafood dish and beef for everyone else. and vegetarian for those who were. I have organized so many functions where i have to choose the menu for 100+ people many times, and no one ever complains. so don't let the menu of all things stress you out! no one will remember afterwards...all they remember is how fun it was! and really if people absolutely hate their meal (which they won't) it's an AI they can run and grab a burger after! no problem!! lol

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
