Sooooo Confused!!!! HELP!!!

Recommended Posts

Hi Spanky,

I am getting married in two weeks (April 17th) at 2:00 at the ROR. I started a thread with a bunch of questions about a week or so ago (ROR Help Needed - Getting Married in Three Weeks). I think a lot of your questions are answered in that thread. I started freaking out too when I saw this site and the amount of work some brides have put in, but trust me, you can do as much or as little as you want. I am choosing to do very little. I just want to relax and have fun in the sun with my friends and family!

I guess firstly you need a head count then you need to find what kind of reception fits your budget. All the extras can be done diy and you will find no end of info on here about all of these.A lot you can pick up very cheaply. The next biggest expense will be your entertainment lots of girls take ther ipod and speakers again check out prices.

Wedding cakes always seem to be a little bit of a let down not many girls have wowed over the cake and they do appear on the what i wouldnt do again list frequently.Just stick with the basic one if its not a priority.Chair sashes can be bought cheaply from fellow members and im sure you will of seen lots of us are taking table decorations with us as the cost of these things are hugly inflated.Flowers are another expense but again you can keep the cost down by being clever ie paper parasols for the bridesmaids and using real touch for your bouquet.Etsy has lots of different ideas including shell bouquets

You can even diy your bouquet.Gerbra daisys hand tied with ribbon look fab.

What else........Vista print great for making luggage tags menus etc.

The best place to pick up ideas is on the wedding review section and of course the buy sell freebie link.

Good luck with your planning xx i hope i havnt confused you anymore.

Finally start thinking of the music you want for the ceremony if your anything like me this was the hardest decision making of the whole wedding,i only did the ceremony lol.

Just start making a list of favourites and hand it to h2b to compile.

Anyway whatever you decide make it fun xxxxxx

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
