Just heard that as of 1st may 2010 all visitors to cuba must have travel medical insurance THAT IS RECOGNIZED BY THE CUBAN GOVERNMENT !

A list of acceptable companies has not yet been made available so anyone traveling soon should hold of buying insurance incase its not valid!

Anyone ith insurance they dont accept must purchase their insurance on arrival in cuba (cost not known).

Some corporate companies offer travel medical insurance, so you may first want to check with your own to see if you're already covered (if so, just remember to ask for the policy to be printed out and bring it along with you to Cuba).

 

Also, some credit card companies offer this with their gold card or platnum status cards - just check in case you are already covered (get your policy printed and bring it along).

 

I have also found the following travel medical insurance provider, their rate is $25 + tax. Here is the link:

Click on Buy Now, and select Worldwide excluding USA... enter your details to get the price quote.

 

This is not great news... but I hope my info above helps!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
