Rehearsal Dinners @ All Inclusive Resorts ?

Does anyone know if the all-inclusive resorts will set aside a room or patio space so that a "welcome dinner" or "rehearsal dinner" could be held there the night before wedding day? Do most couples hold their dinner outside of the resort?

Hey there! We were married at Beaches T&C on 1.23.2010 and when we got there we told our wedding coordinator we wanted to do a rehearsal dinner the night before. And she took care of it. We walked into the restaurant and they had us off and pretty private set up for 20 people. And we had a 3 dedicated servers. And they did a champagne toast and everything. It was really nice!

 

We did the same thing for wedding dinner.. instead of paying buckoo bucks for a "private reception".. we just told the wedding coordinator when we got there and we were set up on the outside patio away from everyone and had another 3 dedicated servers and it was all very perfect!

I was also hoping to do something like this, for my rehearsal dinner and for our wedding reception. We're getting married at the Azul Sensatori in the Riviera Maya, I wonder if most resorts will be accomodating for semi-private dinner parties like this, I sure hope so. Like Future Mrs 2010, I don't want to pay the big bucks to have a private event.

I just think it is sooo silly to pay mucho dollars for all inclusive food and drinks we already paid for. Beaches was def. accommodating for us!
