What's your opinion of Edith's in Cabo?

I've been there several times and have enjoyed it each time. Planning to have our Welcome Dinner there for our small group of 11. Just wondering if any of you have eaten there and if so, was there any other restaurants you liked better?

I went to Edith's with a group of 10 in May and LOVED it. That was the best dinner we had all week aside from our wedding dinner. Also sent another group of guests from our wedding there later in the week and they couldn't stop raving about it. We sat in the unroofed area, but our friends when they went sat in a private wine room which they loved too, so that might be an option for a welcome dinner for 11.

I just loved Ediths for the food, ambiance, etc. I think your guests will feel very special.

Edith's is amazing!!!!!!!!!! We also wante dto have our Welcome Dinner there, but it's too expensive for 60 people, so I think we are going with the SunRider dinner cruise. Edith's would be great for a party of 11. You might also consider looking into Mi Casa....another fabulous restaurant with exquisite mexican food and great decor and ambiance. Other places to consider: Los Panchos, Mision de Kino, Las Golondrinas, Baja Cantina (on the beach).

Good LucK!

Thanks so much. The SunRider will be fun. Have you be on the Sunrider before? I have a couple of times but not the dinner cruise. Weve done the snorkeling trip. Watch out for the drinks. We've just gotten snockered each time - and had no intentions of doing so. Fun, fun time though. We were hoping to do it again with our guests but was told the water is pretty chilly in December for snorkeling. We've actually been to Mi Casa several times and it's another favorite of ours I'm sure will hit that place while we're there.

What part of Orange Co. are you from? My daughter and her family live in Huntington Beach and my future son-in-law and his family live in Irvine. We love Orange Co.

Glad you're getting to go in November. We were told (the first time we went on the SunRider) that it was the best deal in Cabo. At the time, I think it was around $30 per person, but with all the drinks and the meal they cooked for us - I think it was the best deal in Cabo. They play fun music and everyone was dancing. They had this boat boy (but really man) that was just getting everyone involved to party. We even have pictures of him dancing with my 80 year old mother. Too funny. How much are you having to pay now - if you don't mind me asking?

Yes, I though the price was fabulous!!!! He is charging me $40/pp, but that includes the private boat, food, alcohol, and music!!!!!! Everywhere we have looked at the prices for food alone start at $40....so I think it's a great deal and I keep hearing about how fun it is!!! I can't wait! LOL...about your mom dancing....GOOD FOR HER :o)

We are having about 60 guests.....hence the shopping around for prices....it's like paying for 2 wedding receptions...LOL! Since our rehersal dinner will only be the bridal party, we are looking at having it either at Mi Casa or Las Golondrinas...both have an amazing ambiance. We will be there for seven days so we made recommendations on our website for just good ol' taco palces! There is Gardenias and Los Claros which have AMAZING shrimp tacos for like $1.50!!!!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
