PPR Bride --- Deposit to hold your date

My fiance and I are getting married there May 30, 2010. We had to give a $200 deposit (the amount probably changed), they were able to give us a credit card authorization form which we emailed directly to the romance coordinator. We found that to give us the most security as we can always fight something wrongfully billed.

Congrats on picking your wedding location! I had to put a deposit for PPC too, but I found out afterwards that they never actually charged my credit card for the amount (but they still held the date for me)...

I just scheduled mine this week for PPR on July 31, 2010! They had us put down a 400 dollar deposit... I guess the rates change often. I was so ready to get the date booked!

The contract I received said that if your date is less than 12 months away then it is a $300 deposit and if it is more than 12 months then it is $500. My wedding is in 2011 and either way the amount is going towards my final bill.

I paid a $500 deposit and I booked in June. They just charged our charge card in October. I'm with you Ashleed, either way it's going towards my bill.
