Hotels close to IRHS?

Recommended Posts

Hi brides,

I am flying my own photographer into Montego Bay to do my photos, but they are only staying two nights (instead of the required three when you book Iberostar Rose Hall Suites) so I was wondering if anybody knew of hotels that were close to the hotel (where I can pay for a taxi and day pass for them). I was looking at Holiday Inn Sunspree but I can't really determine how far it is b/c all I saw on the websites were PO boxes... Any help would be appreciated!! :)

Hi Monica, I am in the exact same position. I may be bringing a photographer down for my wedding at IRHS in April, and she would only stay in Montego Bay for 1 or 2 nights, so I 've been looking for places she could stay that are close by.

There are 2 places I know that are definitely nearby - Hilton Rose Hall and Ritz-Carlton Rose Hall. Both are supposed to be really nice and are not extremely expensive. Sometimes the Hilton is as low as $100 for a night. They are not all-inclusive (although the Hilton has an AI option), but at least on the day of the wedding they'll be able to use the Iberostar restaurants with their day passes.

I've seen the Holiday Inn Sunspree listed as being in the Rose Hall area also, but I'm not sure if it's 'official' Rose Hall. It may not be as close as the other 2 hotels but I doubt it is more than a 10 minute cab ride.

In general IRHS is 20-30 minutes east of the city center of Mo'bay, so you can use that as a reference when looking for a place.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
