I did numerous searches on this, and couldn't find anything.

I remember downloading a template someone posted, but i can't figure out how to use it. I'm only sort of computer savy.

So, does anyone have specific tips for DIY CD labels? Online, the are looking to be about $1.30 each - so I might just have to go that route. At least it saves the headache, right?

buy a pack of Avery CD labels and put the number into word. Then you can copy and paste your monogram or whatever you want on it. I just did a TON of these for work and it's pretty simple. PM me if you need help.

I got the avery labels, but I guess I'm bad at formatting what I want on the template?! I typically can figure things out.

How do you write at the bottom of the template (for the songs)? Do I need to create a text box? I have to admit, I'm close to just buying labels already done because It's taking me way too long.

it can be tricky...but I'm sure when you're done it'll be well worth the effort to know you did them yourself.

You do have to enter a text box over the picture send the picture to the back so the font shows up.

Doing a google search might help too!

So, I read through this thread: http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t39336

And I've been working on this, but when I use a text box, it leaves a black square around it. I'm sorry if this is the simplest thing to do, and I swear I'm normally pretty good on figuring things out, but I just can't seem to do this. I'm trying to place a palm tree sort in the background and then at the top put our names and date and then at the bottom list the songs - not too complicated.

If there is any step by step instructions out there, please send them my way!

Thanks for all the help girls!

When you draw a text box and you don't want the outline...go to "format" and then under shape outline select no outline. A grey dotted box will show up while you edit it but then go away as soon as you click away from there.

Once you have the background in place remember to send your text to the front. If you have publisher I find it's a bit easier than word because it's made for editing.

Good luck! You sound like me when I tried to do a monogram...definitely wound uup paying someone to do in the end haha.

hey! I completely forgot to tell you (and I wish I would've because it will make your life easier) there is a program online for Avery -google: Avery design and print online. It has templates, designs, and step by step directions. It'll make it a breeze to get these done!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
