Amount of time you had Photo Souvenir????

Recommended Posts

For girls that have use them or are going to use them, how many hours did you have them for? What time did you have them start and what time was your wedding? I am looking at the 5 hour package, but I'm just not sure that will be enough time. The wedding is at 4:15. I would like a couple of me getting ready and to see the look on FI face when he gets his gift, but I also don't want to miss the 1st dance, Mother/son, father/daughter and the cake cutting. Is that to much to ask for in five hours?

i did the 5 hour package. Severine showed up early i'd say around 3 to my room, she was actually at the resort hours before looking for good places for pictures. my wedding was at 4. i didnt want any pics of me getting ready and i actually was running late for my wedding so i didnt have time to take any pics before with my bridesmaids. so she started shooting at 4. the wedding lasts about 15 minutes so by 430 we were taking pics of our group on the beach, than family pics, than guests did cocktail hour while dh and i did our pictures. than we were back to meet guests at cocktail hr, reception started around 6. the first dance is done right after the bride and groom are announced at reception, than the father/daughter dance, than the mother/son dance. cake cutting was probably around 9 and reception was over around 1030. the photog was there the whole time till the very end of reception. Maybe they can move the cake cutting up a little for you, that's the only thing i'd worry about missing. I think you can totally do it in 5 hours unless you want a lot of pictures before. Just let the photog now that you what you want pics of, i'm sure he/she can give you a heads up when they are going to leave so you could squeeze in the cake cutting real fast.

OH and another think Jennifer, Severine called me I think a couple of days before the wedding (she called my room than my cell when she couldnt get ahold me). that's when she worked out all the details about what room # to meet me at and let me know what time she will be there. I know i was nervous cause i didnt talk to her much before i left so i was relieved when i got that phone call. Just wanted to give you a heads up if you get paranoid like me and think "maybe i should of contacted the photog more"

make sure at your meeting with Vivianna (or whichever WC you have) just remind them you have an outside photog and give the photogs name (you'll need it if you dont already know it). vivianna will make sure the front desk knows so the photog has no problems getting into the resort.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
