So Juan is meeting me at my room to take a few shots for about 10 minutes then heading to meet Cain for some before the ceremony shots around the resort (for an hour) then off the to ceremony and after cermony shots. I think 3 hours is going to be enough time... well at least I hope it will be.
tammy heres what i think - YMMV. the getting ready shots are some of the best of the day. theyre so full of excitement and emotion. take a look at this album and see what i mean - Album Preview

do you have room in your budget to add more time? just a thought.

OK First Leigh, those pictures a great, and I love the album.

Here's the thing, were not having an MOH or BM and as of right now my best friend was suppose to go but no can't. I'm afraid I'll be too depressed doing "getting ready" pictures since the only ones there will be Cain's aunt.

Couple things, 1) Christine - what photographer did you end up choosing - I can't wait to hear!

2) TammyM - that's so sad. We're not having a MOH or BM - I might still invite my girls in to help me, maybe my mom. I am starting to wish I had a bridal party, because they support you throughout this whole process. But we can do it alone! I know you talked about having your mom come by helping to pay for her - can she help you get ready? What about Cain's ma or another girl at teh wedding?

I e-mailed Liz Edlund, the one Leigh told me about and I am waiting to make sure she is still available. She was last time I spoke with her, but her pictures are very pretty and her price is very reasonable for the package she gives according to what I have seen in that area.

Ann, Cain's Ma is going to want to be with him on our wedding day. Missy is going (Cain's aunt) and yes she can be with me. If my Mom goes she will be NO help, she's just not good at stuff like that..

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
