Le Blanc Spa & Resort Weddings

Recommended Posts

Hi and congrats! I haven't found anyone yet who has gotten married at Le Blanc...but I'm about to! I'm getting married March 30th...less than 3 weeks! I've really heard only awesome reviews about the facilites, food, service. I will tell you that once you get involved in organizing it...there are a lot of extra fees. You can make it as cheap or as expensive as you want, but some things I'm doing without...a little annoyed...because I refuse to pay the insane price. For example...I got one package down from the signature package...I received pictures via email of bouqets I could choose from. The pictures were numbered and the ones I could choose from were 1-9...good selection but nothing I was super excited about...there were some awesome bouquets that I could up grade to...but they were 200. + to upgrade. Also, I ended up with roses...9 of them...each individual 6 rose bridesmaid bouquet was going to be 250. bucks! I did without them. Also, just so you know, even though it is an all inclusive resort basically you have to have your guests or yourself pay a 100. per person fee just to set foot on the resort and come to your wedding. If you want them to be able to come earlier and stay later and enjoy the all inclusive drinks/food of the resort it is 136. dollars per person. If you have more than I think 21 people you HAVE to have a private function. So, I'm, for example, on top of the package price, and on top of paying 100. per person to get onto the resort for the wedding I am paying 700. for an hour of served hors d'oeurves and open bar for 25 people...not bad all in all...but remember...this is an all inclusive resort to start with! Also, dinner...for 2 hours open bar and either buffet style outside or served dinner inside at one of the restaurants is 500. per table of 10 people. However, I'm excited. I also like the fact that hardly anyone else has gotten married there...unlike Dreams Tulum...etc. I'll keep you posted...if you want to send me your real e-mail address...mine is [email protected] I can at least forward you some of the stuff and pictures they've sent me. Let me know!

that is awesome information.. thank you so much. As far as the private function, I was under the impression from what the wedding coordinator told me that it was included in the package. Is it not? All my guests will be staying there. Have you seen any pictures of the locations and decorations?

Hello girls!! I have stayed there for vacations with my fiance... and I can tell you that the hotel is GREAT!!!, the service is fenomenal and the food is the best... the SPA is out of this world... and of course my fiance and I would love to get married there.. they told me that sometimes is better to have a low season wedding, so that your guests do not spend to much... But definetely it is worth it!!! Good luck!

Hi there!

I am planning to get married at the Le Blanc 2/19/11! I am extremely worried because I feel like I have NO control. They won't let me start planning anything till three months before. It would be amazing if anyone could give some much needed advice. I would LOVE to see some photos or hear some feed back so I stop freaking out!!!!

I'm with Missy K. I am a newly engaged bride and Le Blanc is my #1 choice for a Destination Wedding.  I'm also considering Turks & Caicos as well.  As far as Le Blanc goes, I just have not seen enough pictures to confirm that I am making he right decision to put my mind at ease.

I see that there is a lot of UPCOMING weddings to be held at Le Blanc but not enough BDW Brides have shared Pictures or Reviews.

Lets stick together Le Blanc Brides and Le Blanc Brides To Be.  cheer2.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
