My fiance really wanted a classic car to drive us to the reception since we are moving to the hotel after the ceremony-so his parents are paying for it (dad and stepmom) and I just wanted to share the info in case by some chance someone else wants to get married in Nor Cal.

this is the one we are getting for three hours ($150/hour) and it comes with a red carpet too...how exciting.

Its a rolls royce, which for some reason is making my FI more excited than anything else about this wedding, at least he is finally getting into the Napa Wedding.

That is *way* cool! I had a co-worker who had this done for her daughter's wedding and the photos were so cool! The couple had the Rolls and they rented a Corvette for each bridal party couple and the parents both rented limo's.

I think it's a guy thing---- kind of like the remote control thing and the tool thing.... :)

yes I am sure its a guy thing...I love that I was able to give him certain jobs like the website and transportation, so he felt like he was a part of the planning but still doing guy stuff.

I was doing the same thing---- he was in charge of music and researching wedding ceremonies (wording). Once we had some of the basics figured out (like colors), then I would pick 2-3 things to put in front of him to let him make the "final" decision. Made for a lot less arguments. Granted, it's not like we got very far with that stuff before we decided to postpone, but I figure when we start actively planning again, I'll use the same techniques.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
