What are the required docs/fees (Vow Renewal)

Hi, can anyone tell me what documents and fees are needed for a vow renewal in Jamaica? I heard that it's easier to get married there than Dominican Republic and Mexico. Thank you

I know for a legal marriage all we have to provide is notarized copies of our birth certificates and our passports. Waaaaayyy easier than all the stuff needed for DR/Mexico. Probably the same for a vow renewal I'd assume.

In general the docs required for weddings are :

 

current passports

original or notorized copies of birth certificates ( translated if in a language other than English plus additional notorization- depends on the country of origin)

divorce or death decrees if previously married

 

Vow renewals

current passports

notorized copy of wedding official certificate

 

Always double check with the resort as occasionally they will require additional information.

 

The fees will vary from free on up for weddings, depending on resort.

 

Fees for vow renewals also vary by resort- never free.
