    Don't worry January - Feburary the rates stay low; its the off season. You won't see much of a difference in price, if any at all.

    And don't worry about the people. As long as no one has booked a flight, which they can't yet, changing the date won't turn anyone off.

      That is sucky. They always post that they can make changes but honestly, who ever thinks that they will?

      There is another cruise in Feb 2010 that goes to St. Thomas with Carnival. Not sure if the ship is comparable to the one you had originally booked. It is the same itinerary though as a Carnival cruise I am going on at the end of December. So if you are not booking right away I could let you know how it goes.

      I believe several cruise lines though do go to St. Thomas as when we were booking our trip we compared pretty much every cruise that was departing at the same time.

      You should be able to make it work so don't worry! I am sure people won't mind too much, since there is still a lot of time to make arrangements.
