Where to go?

Recommended Posts

Does anyone have any suggestions on where to go in the evening for a night out on the town so to speak? Where not to go? I am trying to think of some places to go to since we will be there only a few days. Any suggestions would be great. TIA

Do you want to hear jazz music and drink wine, do you want to go to a bar, do you want to go to dinner and a show, do you want to see crazy people in dance clubs, do you want authentic spanish rock music and where the locals gohuh.gifhuh.gif?

Somewhere that would be good for ages 19-22 and then for us older folks. No real preference yet on what type. Just trying to get ideas.

Also, We will be staying at Pueblo Bonito Rose, are there any places near by to purchase water/snackes etc? I hear there is a Costco there, just not sure where it is located. Maybe I need to go to my Costco here and get a card first.

Here is a map that you can see all the places around your hotel and cabo san lucas...

The most famous spots I know:

Cabo Wabo - Great for food and then dancing and drinks - more rock type music but great for different age groups, pool tables in the back

Squid Roe - Great for really getting down & dirty dancing, Super fun for the young crowd later on- alcohol flowing and whistles blowing!

I love love love Squid Roe, but it is definatley for the younger 19-22 crowd and not older folks imho.

I've been to Zoo as well; its such a classy spot! I think this would be a little better for both the younger and older crowd :)

Both play a mix of top 40, party songs, and booty shaking music! bunny_4.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
