I'm going insane! I've been working on my boarding pass invites and I have a great template to work off of (thanks to everyone on this site and the knot)... but I have 2 frustrations:

1.) How does everyone download the fonts to see the images?

(ex. palm trees, hibiscus, etc)

2.) How do you get the text to overlay on top of the image?

My main thing right now is I can't get the images downloaded, I'm not quite sure what program to open it with. I've searched and searched all over this board and the knot and I can't find anything that basically tells me point blank on how to do it.

I've played with everything imaginable and I just dont get it! I'm good at craft projects, but not when it involves the computer! haha

Please help me girls!!

When you download the fonts, you need to move the .ttf file to your fonts folder. 99% of the time, it's in C:/Windows/Fonts. Just drag them over from wherever you saved them to when you downloaded them. You'll know they are loaded, because you'll get a pop-up saying "loading 3 (or whatever) fonts."

You may have to close whatever you're working on and re-open to have the fonts come thru.

To move the images to the back, right-click on the image, hit "order" and then hit "move to back", or "move backward" if you use backward, you may have to do it several times.

Hey Becks

I dont think I quite understand this part. I'm working with the image fonts in "Paint" and the template is in "Word". Both programs dont give me the option of "order" or "move to back" when I right click the mouse.
Thanks for the advice earlier though about the fonts.. I was able to do that in like 2 minutes! =)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
