I thought you already went through this in another thread?

      EnvelopmentsĀ® Matte Cardstock

I would put a color into your program, print it out, and if you don't like it, start to tweak a little and reprint.. you can actually create a full page of squares and have the color different on each square by adding a little cyan or whatever your printer uses.

Home printers aren't color calibrated to professional color profiles so every time you print it could vary a little..

If your paper supplier gives you a PMS match (see attached) you can put in that number and then tell your program to convert to CMYK or RGB.

If you're having something professionally printed they should/may have a swatch book for you to look at before you tell them which color to use.

        4096 Color Wheel Version 2.1

I agree with cheesediva.. your colors will be off so your best bet is to tweek until you get what you want.

I did go through this. I did print about a 100 little circles of different blues in RGB, CMYK, and even Pantone.
I know what color I want - I want Pantone Uncoated 3115U, 3125U, and possibly 3105U, or 3135U. The only color I can match is 3135U, but it is really pretty dark to go with red.
When I tried printing after setting my Publisher doc to Pantone colors, the colors did not much the Pantone colors at all. I just thought maybe if I got people's codes I can try entering them for more trial and error. So so so tired!

              They're RGB

Do the colors have to match EXACTLY to another aqua color?

ok i'll play around with the rgb color wheel then. no they don't have to match exactly at all, but I'd like them to be a variation of shade, not of color, you know?

Would the eye dropper in photoshop help? You click a color on the screen & it matches it & tells you the RGB or CMYK #s. I never print my own stuff so I don't know if that helps with what you are doing.
