Any June Brides past/present?

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone, so I know June in Jamaica is rainy season and all, but I was wondering in anyone has been down there in June and how the weather really was. I am nervous it will rain on our day, but am not freaking out about it. I just hope everyone has a great time, and I know the weather will play a part in that. So if anyone has been down there in June (or even late May), and can let me know how the weather was for them I would really appreciate it!! TIA feedback.gif

Hi! I honeymooned at the ROR June and it rained briefly the first day. It rained the last 3 hours we were there, on the way to the airport, and was still raining when we took off. This was approximately from 9am to 2 pm if I recall correctly.

The forecast said rain everyday but it was blue skies and no rain 98% of the time. We got in the pool in the rain and had a blast, so it won't ruin everything. It would make me nervous too but try not to worry, I bet your ceremony will be fine :)

Great question! I'll be getting married at ROR on June 28th. I've heard that there should be nothing to worry about. Let's just keep our fingers crossed. If it is rainy, I do believe they will move you indoors.

I've always heard it rains in the later afternoon between 1 and 3 or so. This is also usually the hottest time of the day do showers are brief and dry quickly. I'd try to keep your wedding time earlier in the morning or late afternoon/sunset if you really are upset about it. Don't worry the coordinators will have a rain plan they go over with you on the first day.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
