Pros: Fabulous Rooms, Outstanding Service, Spotlessly Clean, Incredible Pool, Succulent Food
Cons: We didn't say longer.......

I went online and booked the Cancun Palace Resort for our daughter's wedding.  It was scary because the website left a lot of questions in our minds.  Our Miami Reservationist, Yesenia Soler, was very efficient with the bookings, website info etc.  At two months prior to the wedding, we were assigned a wedding coordinator...Cintya Ortiz. While Cintya was very quick to respond to our email inquiries and phone requests, we were still a bit shakey amd thought we would have to be sure to oversee every detail.

We arrived a couple of days prior to the wedding thinking that we would need a few days to check-up on everything.  Instead, we played and took tours.  The resort is not only incredibly beautiful but the staff is the best we have ever had at any resort anywhere the in the world!  The staff ALL smiled constantly to the point that the guests all wore smiles as well.  They all spoke English perfectly. So well that they were able to joke with guests, respond to quirky requests and even remember what our favorite drinks were!  When someone wanted to play beach volleyball...the staff filled in and played.  When someone was using a wet towel...someone immediately brought over a dry one.  We can not possibly say enough about how wonderful the staff are at the Cancun Palace.

As for the wedding?  Our daughter and her husband agreed.....it was beyond any of their wildest dreams!  It was absolutely flawless.  Cintya complied with all our requests and MORE!  She asked us a few questions to be sure things were to our liking but just took charge of everything.  She had an amazing staff that immediately responded to her requests as well.  All while smiling.  Not phoney smiles but we actually felt like they were all genuinely happy doing what they were doing.

The bridal boquet was far more beautiful than even the picture we had sent to Cintya.  The beach wedding area, huppa decor (we added ribbons and orchids), aisle sea shell edging, chair trim(ribbons and orchids), beach cocktail chairs and tables decorated with shells, etc. were all decorated exactly as we asked for and setup well in advance of the ceremony so that there was never an ounce of stress. The champagne toast and cocktail hour on the beach was beautiful and the food was delicious.

Her reception was held on the infinity terrace between the pool and the sea.  The flowers on tables were exactly as in the photos we sent.  The cake was exactly as in the photo we sent AND was really delicious!  The food service was wonderful and LOTS of food.  The bartenders were attentive.  The table setup and decorations we asked for (some of which we brought down with us) were placed perfectly at each place setting.  The dance area was a perfect size for our group and when the music started we looked up at the resort and saw all the room balconies filled with people dancing to our music!

I can not possible give a higher recommendation to the Cancun Palace, their incredible staff and our wedding Coordinator, Cintya Ortiz.   All our guests (as well as other resort guests) agreed.  It was the most beautiful wedding they had ever seen.

Thank you CANCUN PALACE RESORT!

Hi there! It's great to hear how wonderful your daughter's wedding was. I a debating booking a Palace resort for my wedding in January and it would really help me to see some pictures. Is there any way you could send me some pictures of the wedding?? and what you purchased from the hotel for the wedding?

Thank you for your help.

nice review, although you have used the rating system incorrectly. You've given them 1 star in everything (which indicates POOR ratings) vs 5 stars. You can edit this and change it.

Thanks for catching my rating error. We booked the complimentary package and upgraded a few items. We changed the bridal bouquet to Alcatrices (Calla Lillies), We also paid extra to have the one hour cocktail party on the beach beside the ceremony area. We also paid extra to have the bar and food keep out for the duration of the 4 hour reception. Other than that we just brought a few things with us. We brought ribbons the color of the girls dresses and silk orchids that we had the staff hang on the huppa corners and on the end chairs. We also brought lots and lots of sea shells that we had lining the aisle to the huppa, on the altar table, on the cocktail tables and on the reception dinner tables. We brought beautiful candles as gifts for everyone and had them placed at each place setting. Cintya and her staff set up everything beautifully. We could not have done it better ourselves. They are truly professional. I'd add photos but don't know how to put them on this site. I will send them to anyone who wants them. Mind you, we don't have the professional ones yet, just friends photos.

Hi ladies, My mom is Karan Schreiber and I am the one who was recently married at the Cancun Palace. An absolutely amazing place that I can't wait to return to. Although we're still waiting for our professional photos, here are some of the pics that family and friends took to give you an idea of the dream wedding we had!!! Cintya, our wedding planner, was a dream!! She made every wish and desire come true for us!!! I posted some of our pics that people sent to us on my profile. Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have. My husband and I did also visit the Beach Palace and stayed a couple nights at the Sun Palace(a sad disappointment next to the Cancun Palace). I wish you all the best and hope your wedding day is a dream come true like ours was!!

Thank you so much for this it was very helpful! My question was on the contract I noticed that you are NOT allowed to bring "outside vendors". I notice though that everyone brings at least a couple of suitcases full of things, so are the talking about just food and beverage, not decor? I ask because I am bring my own table linens and most of the decor and wanted to make sure it was allowed. Thank you!

That shouldn't be a problem at all!! We brought our own seashells, party favors and silk flowers. They will definitely not have a problem with you bringing your own table linens. You just need to let your coordinator know ahead of time and make sure they get them at least a day before so they are prepared when the time has come to arrange your tables accordingly. The coordinators are there to help with the whole process and will do just about anything possible to make your day perfect!!
