Our wedding was on Sept.14,2019, and DJ Kevan with Jamaica Wedding DJs was our DJ and MC for our wedding reception. He was absolutely fantastic! He was prepared well in advance, and spoke with us to get a feel of what type of music and what kind of dances and special features we wanted for our reception. Cons: Slight anxiety at change of DJ but both were so easy to work with
We have nothing but great things to say! Being in the USA, you put all your hope that it will all work out and the unknown can be scary, but our wedding was fantastic! Kevan was exceptional in handling our wedding day. We didn't get a chance to meet him beforehand because of scheduling conflicts, but this was not an issue as the day went along without a hitch. He handled the sound for the wedding and reception and in addition supplied a keyboard and projector setup for the wedding. We dealt with Kevan the entire planning process. He was very quick to respond to emails and answered all my questions in a timely manner. Our actual DJ was DJ Dutch. We met with him the day before the reception and he was so nice and asked great questions to make sure the party would be exactly what we wanted! Pros: ABSOLUTELY AMAZING groups of folks who know how to throw a party.
Dj Dutch was our DJ. Dutch is extremely personable and knowledgeable about all genres of music. My husband and I have very different taste in music and so do our families. He was able to please everyone! When I began my wedding planning the first vendor I booked before I even had a date secured was my DJ! Music was a very big deal for us and I found out about Kevan Stewart on BDW and as soon as I sent him an inquiry I received a response the same exact day.
Kevan was very easy to communicate with. He met with us at our hotel 1 year before our date when we did a site visit to Jamaica and again two days before our big day to confirm all of our music and details.

My husband and I were married on September 9, 2011 in Jamaica and hired JA Wedding. Our DJ was Kevan and he was great! He showed up about 2 hours before our event to set up and prepare and he was dressed nicely in a tux. I forgot to mention our first meeting with him days before our wedding was great too. He used songs that my husband and I had wanted and he also incorporated song choices that were tasteful of his own. Definitely hire Kevan! You won't be disappointed!
