We went for Mega Boom Speakers which sync'd together as we had 30 guests for the reception dancing so didnt need anything crazy, i found the four hours went really fast so if you do get a DJ I would also extend at least another hour. We took lights with us that we had attached to the setup so we had the feel of a DJ, the speakers were fine, but i think hiring a PA system would be better if you didnt want to spend on a DJ. All the dressing is additional, we went for chandaliers x2, 6 pillars dressed to the ceiling and also a gazebo with chandalier for our dance floor. We used Alqumia who were wonderful and did a fantastic job. We spent the most money on the dressing, and it was worth it, we were so happy with how it looked.

We had our wedding at Finest Playa Mujeres on the 15th September. I can honestly say it was the best day of our lives, the hotel exceeded our expectations (we stayed with them in June/July 2015) The wedding was absolutely perfect, I was just so sad the day went so fast and the trip had to end. I am in the process of putting together some videos of the majority of the venues and the resort so brides who haven't visited have a better idea of what to expect. Our wedding was at the Stone Gazebo at 3pm, the Seaside bar for the cocktail hour and then the Grand Palapa for the reception for 25 guests. It was perfect, and I am so happy i chose those locations, especially the Gazebo, and also the Grand Palapa over las Dunas. Some images are over on Instagram - #CulbotWedding
