  1. @ JasminMattPhoto Thanks so much for sharing these pictures of GBP! You really captured wonderful vantage points. In our tour of GBP, it was hard to get a sense of what areas were actually available for booking. There was once place much like your first picture that they said wasnt available for weddings - outdoor dining for the Rodozio only. Anyways, your pictures are absolutely stunning! We actually ended up deciding on a place, but i'll definitely keep an eye out for any photos you might post for the wedding at Jewel!! <3
  2. @MrsSLMP Thank you so much for commenting!!! I have been trying to find other "Runaway" brides on the forum who are not having their actual wedding at an AI. When I stayed at the Grand Bahia I was totally satisfied. It's definitely still my top choice hotel to recommend to my guests, and also location. I was just researching Laughing Waters today. We are also expecting about 100 guests. I would LOVE to chat more. Have you decided on a date yet? I have so many questions - I hope you dont mind. Sending you a message now.
  3. @NixSpade Here's the info I have on Azul Negril: 2015 Packages http://memorablemomentsweddings.com/Karisma-Wedding-Planning-resources.cfm?agencyID=0&RD=0&LT=0 2016 and on http://memorablemomentsweddings.com/Karisma-MM-home.cfm?agencyID=0&RD=0&LT=0 I think you can reach the central weddings department at 1.866.527.4762 for the latest info. Tell them your location and hopefully they can direct you to someone who can arrange a quote for the Negril location. If you are absolutely set on Negril as your location and planning for next October, I say don't hesitate; go for it!! Let me know how it goes!! Good luck
  4. @@JasminMattPhoto That would be GREAT! I would love to see some photos of your trip to Runaway Bay. Please do keep me posted when you get back! I really love the Runaway Bay area, I think it's the all around best location to stay on the island for a vacation. I'm pretty decided that most of our guests will stay at Grand Bahia but I wasn't thrilled with their actual wedding locations - at least 3 weddings a day like clockwork. I loved my stay as a guest there but dont think the location would make me a happy bride. Now considering booking a villa for the wedding day and bus ppl there. Please let me know if you see any place interesting that I missed have missed if you explore! @@sjlova86 I am based in NYC
  5. Hi Sweetpea2018 and 2017weddingguy, I'm currently researching venues in Jamaica and took an exploratory trip there last month. We didnt have Azul Sentatori on our final list but at the suggestion of a chef at our hotel in Runaway Bay, we made the trip. No appointment, no tour requested, no guarantee they would even let us past the gate. Thankfully, when we arrived we were able to get an abridged impromptu wedding site inspection tour. The immediate curb appeal of the hotel driving up to the gate, leaves much to be desired, but once we got into the front lobby, we were absolutely blown away!! We even got a glimpse of wedding that was being set up, and it looked really beautiful. The setting couldn't have been more serene. If you are planning on having 20+ guests I HIGHLY suggest you contact the wedding team. After a peek at the wedding we (me, my fiance and parents) were invited invited to the wedding department, where they showed us pictures of other weddings, let us look through books of sample menus, flower arrangements, entertainment, everything. We toured the entire northern coast of Jamaica during our visit, none of the sunsets on the island can beat what we saw in Negril. The only drawback for me is that Negril is far away from some of some of Jamaica's biggest attractions that I want my family and friends to experience during their trip (Dunn's River, Bamboo Rafting, Bobsledding, Blue Hole). But I just may have to get over it. After all, Negril has the 7-mile beach! I'm still torn as to which location to choose - Negril or Runaway Bay. I included a picture of the wedding set-up we saw. It was a sunset wedding and it had just rained. The picture doesn't really do it justice, because even as a passerby the wedding not only looked beautiful but FELT beautiful; and isn't that what you want on your wedding day? I hope you can see why I'm so torn. We are hoping to get married next summer. Need to decide soon - eek! Below are some pics of our speedy but wonderful tour at Azul Sensatori in early May 2016.
