Hi Ladies! I am excited to read these reviews on Neysa and her team! I recently came upon her website from another wedding website and immediatly took a liking to all her brides photos. I have inquired about scheduling a trial with her when I go visit in two weeks. I was curious, Did Neysa herself work on the brides makeup? Or did someone else do it? Thanks!

@@cassie06, I'm so excited to hear about another makeup artist name! I came across Alma's website while doing google search for Cabo airbrush makeup artist. But seeing as how there wasn't much reviews, etc... I was a little hesitant to even consider as an option. Her pricing seems much more reasonable. Did you have to pay taxes on top of those prices or were those final? Was their team easy to work with? I am visiting Cabo in two weeks and am looking to book in a hair and makeup trial. Thank you for the info!

I also got quoted for fireworks by Pueblo Bonito... $1000 for 1 min. Insane.

Hi There, I know that there are extensive great reviews (and a few bad ones )on Suzanne Morelle's makeup services. I've looked up Suzanne's website, and while all photos look amazing, their prices are a bit high, especially since I am planning on paying my 6 bridesmaids makeup as well. So I was curious if any other bride out there has used another Hair & Makeup vendor out in Cabo, and what their experience were? Also, has any bride ever used the hair and makeup services at Grand Solmar? That is where I will be getting married at in November. Thank you and much appreciated for any responses!

@@MissMarissa, Thank you for your lengthy review and congrats on a wonderful wedding! I am also having our wedding at Grand Solmar this November with the same accommodations. Were your guests able to hang out at each others resorts and use their facilities? May I ask why you decided to go with outside vendors for hair and makeup, photography/videography, and DJ/lighting? Did you have to pay the external vendor fee of $200 for each? We are debating if we should use an outside vendor for the cake. In my opinion, $1400 for a cake is a little absurd. So far...our wedding coordinator hasn't been bad, but she hasn't exactly been the best with offering options either. I am hoping it is because our wedding is still a bit out. Reading your review helps ease some of my concerns.

Hi There, I am getting married at the end of November 2015 at Grand Solmar. I am also in the midst of deciding whether or not to go with their photographer/videographer and cake (a $1400 cake sounds absurd to me). So far my experience hasn't been totally great or totally bad. I assume it is because there is still some time from now to end of November..... @chry@christyrose, if you can shed some light on some of the vendor choices you chose, that would be wonderful. My fiance and I also stopped by Casa Dorada, Villa Estancia / Archo / Palmer when we were in search of a wedding venue in Cabo back in March. We were not looking for a beach ceremony so the Villa properties were out of the question for us. But here is what we found about Casa Dorada. This place had the BEST physical spot dedicated to ceremony and reception. It had a good view and nice large area for dinner and dancing. The cost was also on point. But there were two major downers we found. The first was the fact that they are in a prime location for cruises to dock so at any given day, you run the risk of having a cruiseship in the background of your pictures. When we asked about it, the wedding representative also stated that that was a high possibility. In fact, it was even in one of the pictures they send in the wedding package. If that isn't really an issue (I know you can blur things through photography), then theres the popular Mango Deck right next door. If you are having an evening wedding, chances are you will have to say your vows over some booty music blasting next door. Hope this helps!

Hi There, My fiance and I are having our wedding at Grand Solmar Land's End this November 2015. When we looked at the price breakdown, their cake cost is $1400. From what we've learned through visiting multiple resorts, that price seems a little high. So we are considering using an outside vendor for our cake - despite a $200 outside vendor fee. Has any bride run into a similar costly situation, and if so are there any good recommendations you can give? Any tidbit info is much appreciated! Thanks!
