Hi Everyone! Quick question is everyone having their cocktail hour AFTER their wedding ceremony or before the ceremony then the ceremony then the reception dinner. Im confused LOL Not sure when I should do it!

Im not sure. But my dad was going to do this but he found out it cost $120 for the pass and it only allows them to come to the wedding and that is all. And there is a time frame for them to stay so they cant come to the rehearsal dinner or anything. Its really not worth it in my opinion because they wont get to spend as much time with everyone else

@@stephygirl thank you so much! I think I am just going to stick with Having BP setup the dinner! And I might just have Latinasia setup lighting. Did you by any chance have music playing in the background? Did you just use an ipod player?

thank you @@stephygirl. Did you have a vendor setup tables or did beach palace do that for you?? If so, can you please send me some pictures! I am so torn. I really want to have a dinner to thank our guest but If I go with latinasia for setup its going to cost around another $1k.

@stephygurl Thanks so much for the feedback! I actually think we are going to choose the French menu.I am not sure if I missed it, but where did you have your rehearsal dinner? What location? I am thinking about having one but I am not sure the cost. Is it the same ( $55/PP) as the reception dinner? Thanks!!

hi @@Jenjennyjen I am getting married at beach palace. and according to my wedding contract book 30-59 room nights and receive 1 hour cocktail reception book 60-74 room nights and receive 2 hour private function book 75 room nights and receive unlimited private functions And earn one complimentary room and one complimentary upgrade for every 10 paid rooms in your wedding group. Also I wanted you guys to see what I am doing for my wedding invites. I have contacted the owner and she responded very quickly. hey girls! I was wondering about a welcome dinner too. I asked my WC how much it would cost if I had a dinner on the beach for everyone. She said the cost is $63/pp!! As much as I want to do this for my guest. There is no way I can afford an additional dinner. She also told me that the restaurant does not take reservations, so if I want a welcome dinner we just have to show up and wait! I was so annoyed. what are you all doing??

Hi @! I just got an e-mail from latin asia! They are quoting me $1,100 LESS than the hotel collection. I am going to be using them. However quick question. The collection came with a violinist to play while I walk down the isle. Now that I am not going to be using the collection, what is everyone doing for music for the ceremony???

@ I am having it on the sky deck. What about you? The pure collection is around $4,500 which includes flowers and 3 reception tables. I am waiting to hear back from LatinAsia.

hey everyone! I just wanted to let you know Nayeli FINALLY responded to me. She basically told me that the beach palace doesn't have a white gazebo??? ( so confusing) but I could rent one thru Latin Asia. I originally was going to do the Pure collection but now I am looking into doing the complimentary package and going thru Latin Asia for the ceremony décor. I just e-mail Latin Asia ( who by the way responds either the same day or the next day, they are awesome). If it ends up being cheaper then the Pure collection I am just going to go with them! Is anyone doing this? I wish I knew how to post pictures on this site because I want to post the picture of the wedding latin asia just did at beach palace!

@ I may need to get her supervisors e-mail address. The only reason why I am not freaking out is because I still have 10 months before my wedding lol. As it gets closer I will complain. so a question to everyone: If it rains ( which lets pray it doesn't) do you know if we have to pay extra to have our ceremony in the time share suite? I DO NOT want to have my reception in the conference center that I was shown when I went for my tour. it was hideous!!!!!! however, I have seen some people with photos of their reception in that time share suite and it was gorgeous! just wondering how we get to have it in there if it rains!

I actually heard back from her last night AFTER TWO WEEKS and it wasn't even a response to me! it was a forward to Rocio, the woman at the spa booking my appointment. Besides for that e-mail she STILL HAS NOT ANSWERED ALL MY OTHER QUESTIONS!!! its so aggravating because now I am getting confused. I asked her about the white gazebo and she totally blew off my question and just send a forward e-mail to the spa. What the heck! On the bright side JSAV FINALLY responded to my e-mail after 3 weeks. Has anyone used them/ or are using them? Can we pick out own songs??? @daniella1 She said " please see attached photos of the gazebo" when I opened the photos they were of the pearl shimmer collection with NO GAZEBO! IM NOT EVEN DOING THE PEARL SHIMMER COLLECTION! im so aggravated right now! I e-mailed her back and was like " there are no photos of the gazebo in that e-mail" SHE NEVER RESPONDED!!!!

hey everyone! thanks for the responses. @missamber this is the response I got from My WC... please note that the gazebo changed and now is White. AND THAT WAS 2 WEEKS AGO! STILL HAVENT HEARD BACK FROM HER LOL I have no idea what she is talking about! I wish she would respond so I could get an idea of what I want. DId you see the crystal tear backdrop they have that comes with the pure and pearl shimmer collection? If so was it nice? thanks!

@perinjay- I have nayeli! she hasn't responded to me at all! and when I do write to her, her automatic e-mail pops up that she is out of the office. I agree- it is just added stress, I want to make sure she knows exactly what I want. She told me that they had a gazebo, then my TA went there and said there was no gazebo. I e-mailed her and she told me there was and said see attached photos, I opened the photos up and they were pictures of the pure collection there was no gazebo even in the picture!! I was so confused. She also told me to see attached pictures of the pure collection, and when I opened the photos up it was actually pictures of the pearl shimmer collection. She is causing me to stress out. I have contacted my TA and asked her if I could get a new WC. @ ABfuturesulli I believe as long as the guest is at the hotel it doesn't matter if they booked with your group or not. The only time you get charged additional fees is if the guest are coming from different hotels.

Are you having private events for all 3? I was just going to have a private events for the wedding reception and just make reservations for the rehearsal dinner at one of the restaurants. Do you mind me asking how much they are charging for the welcome dinner? Is it outside? Thanks!
