  1. My husband and I were just married at Sapphire Now on April 25th and it was a symbolic ceremony, they didn't request anything and they even provided a certificate in which we signed as part of the ceremony in front of our guest.
  2. I had the ladies at now do my hair and it turned out great and last all night. I did my own makeup bc I'm a makeup artist.
  3. Quick Question for all past brides Did anyone have any issues at customs with taking decorations into Mexico. I just want to make sure I am covering my basis. I have two suit cases for table linens, charger plates and napkins as well as flameless candles. We leave in about 7 days.
  4. They set up whatever tables you like. I chose the Beach terrace because of the beach. We booked the oceanfront I think upgrades depend on availability. The week we get married (next week the resort is practically book)
  5. The preferred.pool area is most privated. We've chose the beach terrace and I have 35 guest coming.
  6. Well your ahead of me. I am still waiting on so.e decor and then I'll pack. I'm annoyed that I'll be out of town for business the entire week prior to us leaving. So u have to get moving.

  10. My wedding is scheduled for April 25th at the Beach Terrace and everyone said it wasn't as private. I had Jh0510038 send me pictures (shes the best) I recently found out that there are 2 other brides getting married on the same date. Not to mention the resort is booked so I was super worried about the location> How much did you pay for lighting? I wonder if I can get my DJ to provide extra spot lighting instead of paying sapphire now for it? What time was your ceremony... I've been super confused with a timeline for the reception. The little details are going to kill me lol If someone could offer of a timeline for receptions events (Cake cutting, first dance) I would be ever so grateful. You ladies have to post pictures. Its the final hour and I am still up in the air about using the resort photographer b/c they truly have me worried. One last question for those who used the resort photographer. When did you let them know that you wanted to add an hour or 2 of photography to you event, was it in the planning form or at the meeting with Ramon and Juan? Thanks
  11. I was super annoyed about the $75 dollar table linens. I budgeted for the Tiffany Chairs but I absolutely refuse to pay for the table cloths. I'll buy them here I only need 4 and I actually found a place that will allow you to rent them and send them back.

  13. I actually chose the beach terrace because I want everything all set up in the same area. Cocktail hour, reception, lou b check area, dance floor and the beach terrace is huge. I also want all square tables connected into one large U shape and me and the grooms table at the head of the U. Ladies has anyone used other table linens other than the ones that come with the package? I asked Ramon about a specific table cloth he tells me they have it and then comes back days later qouting me $75 for each tablecloth. calling it a special tablecloth. Their planning book specifically says $25 for different fabrics and colors. NOTHING about special table cloths is listed in the planning book. ANNOYED BEYOND MEASURE. I told him I felt he was being dishonest and it's unfortunate that they are charging brides this kind of money in order to RENT A table linen when it's actually 2 Times cheaper to purchase it out right.

  15. Yes the signature drink is included in the Divine package and as Dina Q to be said the planning form give you an option for the cocktail hour and one during the reception.
  16. You can choose which tables you want to use. I'l going with the long tables. I had to email Ramon to get measurements so I am sure there is no charge for these
  17. Jaxbchkay: I've been MIA but I am back now that my wedding is right around the corner as well... As far as the 2015 pricing that is exactly what I was told about it. I booked my wedding in January 2014 and they still told me I had to pay 2015 pricing unless I paid for the package price by Dec 31st. Anything and I mean anything can happen so we were not too comfortable with this. I'm not worrying myself over it. As previously stated Ramon also quoted me ridiculous pricing for the flowers basically $1250 a centerpiece and I believe $125.00 for bridesmaids bouquets (something like that) I wanted tall centerpieces for my reception. I ended up going with Maya Floral. I ordered 3 tall centerpieces with Lilies, orchids and roses for $195 each and 3 bridesmaids bouquets for $85 each plus taxes and delivery fee totaled with the vendor fee. I believe it was no more than $1387.00 even with the resort vendor fee I paid way less than what the resort quoted me. Not to mention I sent both men pictures of what I wanted the same pic. Plus,Marvin (Maya Floral) will deliver and set things up the the way I requested. With my wedding package I get my bouquet, 3 boutineers and 3 corsages so it all works out. Tealights are included with my centerpieces from maya floral. The only thing I am buying myself are bringing with me: Table cloths, charger plates, napkins, programs, menus and seating cards, 24 flameless tealights and sashes. I am upgrading the to the Tiffany chairs. We also went with DJ Movil because he had great reviews and to be honest out of response times. He's been the absolute best. Within a couple hours he was contacted, we were quoted, contract was sent & signed by us, payment invoice sent to us. Contracts signed by DJ, finalized and confirmation of date & time booked was received. His response turn around time was extremely commendable. I know he'll take care of everything related to music all my how he quickly he responded. We booked him for 4 hours. Not to mention he provides two spotlights for lighting lol. Those coupled with my tea lights and the tealights I plan on bringing should cover it. I plan on buying favors when we arrive to the resort because I've been to mexico a few times and the little boutiques are inexpensive to purchase things and I don't have to worry about customs and overweight luggage. I'm trying to make this as simple as possible on myself we are already in paradise, I trust that they know what they are doing and unless something completely out of this world happens I know I'll be satisfied. My first fitting is January 17th and I'm super excited about that.
